Refund policy

 

We want you to be completely happy with your purchase! If for any reason you’d like to return an item, you can do so within 14 days of delivery for a full refund.

How to Return an Item

  1. Email us at returns@smallbacteria.com with:

    • Your name and email address

    • The item you wish to return

    • The reason for return

    • Whether you’d like a refund or an exchange

  2. Send the item back to us within 14 days of receiving your order.

  3. Please include your name and returns code inside the parcel.

Items must be unopened, in saleable condition, and in their original packaging.
Returns are made at your own cost and risk, so we recommend using a tracked or recorded delivery service.

International Exchanges

  • For international orders, please place a new order for the item you’d like instead.

  • Return the original item to us for a refund.

  • Always mark returns as “returned goods” on customs forms.

  • Any customs charges we have to pay will be deducted from your refund.

  • We recommend using a tracked service, as we are not responsible for items lost in transit.

Cancelling an Order

  • To cancel, email us at hello@smallbacteria.com.

  • If your order hasn’t been processed yet, we’ll cancel it and issue a full refund (including postage).

  • If it has already been processed, you’ll need to return it following the steps above. In this case, postage costs are non-refundable.

  • Please note: orders placed during sales or promotions cannot be cancelled.

Additional Notes

  • Undeliverable parcels returned to us may incur additional postage and processing fees.

  • We cannot refund undelivered parcels returned more than 28 days after purchase.
